Sunday School & Nursery Care

Sunday Morning Nursery Care - 9:45-11:15AM 

Children ages 6 weeks- 4YO have a space of their own where parents can drop off their children during the 10AM worship service. Prefer to have them with you in worship?  You are welcome to! Whichever way your family worships best.  

Sunday Morning Worship - 10AM

All ages are welcome! All non nursery aged children start off in the sanctuary.  Early in the service, children are invited forward for a children’s sermon where they will hear the scripture and theme for the day in a developmentally appropriate way.  

Sunday Morning Sunday School - 10:15-11:00AM

Elementary Class- 5YO-4th Grade 

Middle School- 5th - 8th Grade

After the children’s sermon, elementary and middle school students are dismissed to a Sunday School class with other children their age.  There they will play games, hear a story, and work on an activity.  During special times of the year, our music director comes and works with the children as they practice songs to share in the adult worship service. 

Baptism

We have an open door policy when it comes to baptizing. This means that whatever your faith background or membership, we are delighted to offer this for your family. Baptism is open for young children, youth, or adults.  The only prerequisite is to set up a meeting with the pastor so you can go over what the sacrament means and to work out the logistics.  Please call the church office to set up an interest meeting.  

Special Celebrations

We love to celebrate at Christ Church! We have special programming that includes potlucks, coffee (and snacks!) hour after worship, an eater egg hunt, children’s christmas pageant, Youth & Children’s Sunday, confirmation, and more!
